Setup steps

Simple to pump up, even easier to pack away. Shady Baby goes from bag to shade in under a minute.

Time required: Under 60 seconds

Materials

  • Included canopy
  • Ground stakes
  • Manual air pump
  • Pump line
  1. Unzip the carry bag.

Open the carry bag and set it where you will set up.

  2. Remove the hand pump and attached air tube.

Take out the included manual hand pump and pump line.

  3. Unfold Shady Baby fully flat on the ground, air channels facing down.

Lay the frame flat with the air channels oriented toward the ground.

  4. Connect the air channel joints together via the velcro joist.

Join the air-channel sections with the velcro joist.

  5. Locate the air valve. Place two stakes in the looping hooks at the base of the longer air channels.

Find the inflation valve, then stake the longer channels at the base loops.

  6. Attach the pump’s air tube to the valve and inflate to at least 6 PSI (green marker on the pump).

7 PSI is recommended; the frame supports up to 10 PSI for extra stability in higher winds.

  7. The frame will self-shape into its arch as it inflates.

Let the arch form as pressure builds — no poles to assemble.

  8. Adjust the arch size or leg width manually by repositioning the stakes if needed.

Move stakes to dial in the footprint before final anchoring.

  9. Secure the remaining feet with the loop hooks (an optional securing strap is included).

Anchor every foot so the canopy stays put in a breeze.

  10. Enjoy the shade.

You’re set — under 60 seconds start to finish.
